The malar facial filling is usually applied with hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance produced by our body, and thus difficult to reject.

The treatment step by step

Treatment. The session begins with the hygienization of the skin at the treatment site, and then an anesthetic ointment is applied, to relieve the discomfort caused by the treatment (contact of the needle with the skin). Once the first step is completed, the procedure itself is then started, with the application of the injection of hyaluronic acid into the skin. Here, different measures of depth will be used, according to the need for treatment. The substance applied promotes the elevation of the treated area, giving the skin the ideal volume. The session is usually performed only once.
After-treatment / results. The results are immediate. Soon after the hyaluronic acid absorption period, the skin becomes more hydrated, stimulating collagen production and bringing rejuvenation to the face. As it is an absorbable filling, it has an average duration of 6 to 9 months, and periodic applications can be done depending on the case and the specialist's evaluation. Is any care needed before the procedure?

The use of hyaluronic acid is contraindicated for pregnant women, for people who are sensitive to this type of acid, have autoimmune diseases, use anticoagulants, and for skin that is susceptible to keloids.
