We all have different lives, but regardless of our individual circunstantes, most of us want to live a happy and healthy life. One important step for living a happier life is being healthy. And being healthy starts in the kitchen.

While some people consider cooking to be an activity in which to indulge themselves, a lot of us simply don’t have the time or the patience. So you hire a maid to help, but what if her cooking skills aren’t exactly what you are looking for, needs improvement, or:

  • You follow a specific diet and need help preparing meals?
  • You or someone in your family have  food intolerances or allergies and need help adapting recipes?
  • You want to eat healthier but don’t know where to start?

Food has the power to affect you both physically and mentally, inspiring positive changes not only in the way you eat, but hopefully in the eating habits of the people around you as well. Food is there to be appreciated and enjoyed.

Program structure

Lesson 1: Basic Kitchen Skills

In the first class, we teach your maid basic kitchen skills. We cover personal hygiene, kitchen hygiene, hygienically handling and storing food, knife safety, and preparing to cook.  She will learn the ins and outs of following recipes and making basic adjustments, as well as how to tweak these recipes to incorporate different ingredients. We will also teach her how to read food labels, so she knows how to choose the best food products for your meals.

This is the class we will get to know your maid and her current skills, so we will have a clear indication of how proceed in the next classes. After lesson one, we can teach just about anything you would like. We have lots menu options you can choose from. But these options are flexible and you decide the dishes you want your maid to learn. Here are some suggestions:

Lesson 2: Tasty Breakfasts and Snacks

  • Introduction to preparing a nutritious breakfast, choosing the healthier types of bread, homemade pancakes, cooking eggs and nutritious juices and smoothies.

Lesson 3: Nourishing Lunches

  • Introduction to preparing vegetables to preserve their nutrient content, preparing salads, salad dressings, cooking grains and legumes, healthy pastas.

Lesson 4: Delicious Dinners

  • Planning a menu, preparing meat, preparing fish and seafood, preparing plant-based meals and soups.

How does it work?

We create a program that  is personalized to teach your maid to get it right. She will gain a vast array of healthy and delicious recipes to add to your family recipe book, all of which are easy to learn and replicate.

Since there’s certainly no one-size-fits-all in terms of food choices, your maid will learn to make recipes to suit your family’s taste buds, and that will also nourish you and your loved ones.

We want to ensure that each recipe embraces all the food groups and different ingredients super-rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

This program was developed by a team of nutritionists and a qualified chef, in which your maid will have 4 classes of 4 hours each, hosted in your kitchen.
